The all-in-one solution through geolocation, the bet of big companies against the Covid-19

75% of attendees at the webinar organized by Situm consider using this technology to achieve a safer return to work. A simultaneous control of interpersonal social distance, capacity of spaces in real time and employee traceability is the main concern for 25%.

IT, operations and human resources managers of companies with large corporate headquarters, factories in the automotive industry, airports, suppliers of large security services and technology integrators in Spain and Latin America. These are the profiles of most of the almost 100 attendees that Situm gathered last May 6th to present its solution for a safer return to work: Situm Covid-19.

This solution is the answer to the main problems raised by the different companies consulted during its creation:

  • Locate in real time in which spaces or which workers are not keeping the minimum interpersonal social distance.
  • Notify this situation to the employee and managers.
  • Know which employees have been in risk contact with a worker that tested positive for Covid-19.
  • Identify areas to be disinfected because of a positive covid-19

During the discussion following the presentation, a questionnaire was sent to the attendees to determine what confidence they had in geolocation as a response to these problems, and which of these three challenges they considered to be the main one to be solved:

The result of the poll was as follows:

  • 71% of the attendees consider to install a geolocation solution to increase safety when returning to work.
  • 50% consider as a priority a solution that jointly solves the three problems
  • 25% consider safety interpersonal distance control as their main concern
  • The data shows the increased interest that is perceived by governments and companies in geolocationsolutions in times of covid-19, the alternative that are being considered as more efficienty. A solution that Situm provides with high precision, minimal infrastructure and fast deployment.
